Maximilian Cobos

Research Interests: Maximilian’s research explores innovative solutions to water scarcity, a growing challenge driven by population growth, pollution, and climate change. He is interested in developing unconventional water treatment technologies that enable on-site wastewater reuse, reducing reliance on freshwater sources. Membrane Distillation (MD) is one such approach with the potential to recover water from highly concentrated waste streams where conventional methods struggle. By advancing these technologies, he hopes to contribute to more sustainable and accessible water management strategies.

Background: Maximilian enjoys hands-on activities like working on cars and driving. He stays active by regularly hitting the gym and loves ultimate frisbee. In his downtime, he’s a seasoned Call of Duty gamer and a big fan of FromSoftware.
