Research Interests: Eric’s current research project investigates the use of orange peel-derived biochar (BC) and carbon dots (CDs) to enhance anodic electrode materials in microbial fuel cells (MFCs). By focusing on sustainable energy solutions and efficient waste management, the project aims to improve MFC efficiency and sustainability. Eric’s work involves transforming agricultural waste into valuable electrode components and evaluating their performance in terms of electrical output and microbial interactions.
Background: Eric has a range of interests that keep him engaged outside of his research. He enjoys watching movies, playing video games, and going hiking. These activities offer him a mix of relaxation, fun, and outdoor adventure.
