I am a visiting student in Dr. Qilin Li’s lab. I am also a Ph.D candidate at Harbin Institute of Technology. My research mainly focuses on the removal of water pollutants by advanced oxidation processes (AOPs). I previously researched on the synthesis of nanocatalyst for oxidation of organic contaminants via peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. Currently, I am studying on the removal of pollutants in water with electrochemical process, such as selective removal of toxic anions by the capacitive deionization (CDI) process. My work mainly involves development of novel composite electrodes, evaluation of system efficiencies and the mechanisms of the removal process.
